My characters -- they come to me in dreams and meditations, begging to have their stories written.

What advice would you give an author who is uncertain about their future in the literature world?

Just keep writing. The more you write, the more your books will sell each other. Don't listen to anyone who tells you to stop. Keep going!

My name is Robert D. Jones. I live in Adelaide, Australia with my family and write Epic Fantasy. I started writing in 2016 and published a number of non-fiction books about mythology, but then moved to fiction where I've quickly (and gratefully) picked up a loyal following.

What gives you inspiration to write?

Mythology and psychology is a huge influence on my works. Being able to take aspects of myths and universal truths and putting them in my own work feels like poetry to me.

What advice would you give an author who is uncertain about their future in the literature world?

If you want to write for yourself, then just put in the hours and do it. If you want to write for a career, do your research and find out what genres you would like to write and have a readership.
